Shades are thought to be the descendants of those who have spent many generations in the Fell. However little is known of their true origin. They vary greatly in shape, but all of them exist as strange three dimensional silhouettes with glowing eyes. Some compare them to tears in reality. They are often born with telekinetic abilities.
