Tritons

Those of Lake, River, and Sea

Triton come in many shapes and sizes. Some appear very fish-like, while others appear more like humans or elves covered in scales. Triton have an aquatic, and normal respiratory system allowing them to live both on land and below water. They even have the ability to speak underwater using unique membranes in their throat.

Being largely water bound, many Triton were required to live in the bodies of water contained within the wilderness. Few acclimated to normal society.
